                          GLOSARY





Mangle: it is a kitchen utensil usually located next to the sink that is used to air-dry the dishes, glasses, cutlery and other accessories that are wet.
Greedy: excessively or overly desiring wealth, possessions, etc
Glisten: to reflect a sparkling light or a faint, flickering glow, as a wet surface; shine
Kettle: a metal container in which to boil liquids, cook foods, etc.
Isolation: to set or place apart.
Screw: a nail-like metal fastener, having a thin end with a spiral groove and a head with a slot.
Sneeze: to produce air or breath suddenly, forcibly, and loudly through the nose and mouth by involuntary action.
Starving: to die from lack of food.
Hoovering: a type of vacuum-cleaner.

Regret: wish you had not do.
Wrinkle: a small crease in the skin, as from haging me.

GLOSARY

Pickpocket: person that stealing wallets and purses to pedestrians and use their ability to not be discovered.

Hooligans: Committing antisocial acts to cause discomfort or injury to others, especially in public acts. 

The World's: is the annual championship series of Major League Baseball  (MLB) in North America, contested since 1903 between the American League (AL) champion team and the National League (NL) champion.

Mugger: A person who mugs, one who assaults a person in order to rob him or her.

Ripple: (of a liquid surface) to form small waves , as water when a breeze disturbs it.

Windshield: a shield of glass above the dashboard of an automobile.

  • Coach: a bus for long distances.
  • Valley girl: posh, with high class.
  • Slang: very informal words and idioms, normally not used in formal situations and sometimes
  • "The die is cast.": "Alea jacta est." - "La suerte está echada."
  • Crutch: a staff or support to assist a person in walking.
  • Schedule: timetable.
  • Fabric: cloth
  • Cliffts: It´s a high area of land with a very steep side, specially next to the sea.
  • Wheat: the grain of a cereal grass used in the form of flour.
  • Knight a mounted soldier serving under a lord or king and having an honorable rank.
  • Lord: A person who has authority, control, or power over others master or ruler.
